G-ZERO x POTICON FILAMENT achieves high-quality output that approaches injection molding.
POTICON FILAMENT boasts high modeling strength and dimensional stability. Gutenberg, the manufacturer of G-ZERO, is collaborating with Otsuka Chemical Co., Ltd., to maximize the performance of each other's filaments. The output from the combination of G-ZERO and POTICON FILAMENT achieves strength and dimensional stability comparable to injection molding, offering a viable alternative for producing durable, precision-engineered components.

01
About POTICON.
POTICON (potassium titanate compound) is a functional resin composite material made by mixing TISMO, a potassium titanate fiber material developed by Otsuka Chemical Co.TISMO, a microfiber that is only a few thousandths the size of glass fiber, has high strength and rigidity with dimensional stability, and can be blended with resin to enable ultra-thin-wall molding. As an engineering plastic, TISMO is used in parts that require micro-reinforcement, high-strength, and high-sliding properties.

02
Achieves strength approaching that of injection molding.
In addition to the high level of layer connectivity achieved by G-ZERO and POTICON FILAMENT, tensile strength and bending strength in the XY direction exceed those of injection-molded products made of the same material. Compared to the combination of other companies' products, our strength is more than double.

03
High dimensional accuracy with an average dimensional error rate of 0.18%.
As a result of accuracy comparisons, the average error rate of the product produced by combining G-ZERO and POTICON FILAMENT (HARD PPS) was within 0.18%. Compared to moldings made with printers and materials from other manufacturers, G-ZERO achieves an overwhelmingly high degree of accuracy.

04
Meets the needs of various industrial applications.
POTICON FILAMENT can add or enhance performance such as heat resistance and antistatic properties in addition to the basic performance of strength and dimensional stability by controlling the amount of TISMO content and the combination of base materials.

POTICON ESD PPS semiconductor transfer trays take advantage of antistatic performance from combining Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) with ultra-fine potassium titanate fibers (TISMO), designed for applications requiring high durability and dimensional stability. The tray shape, which is prone to warping, is flat with high dimensional accuracy.

The output is durable and accurate, even for tiny shapes, with excellent dimensional accuracy, making it possible to produce original gears that are not available on the market.

The characteristics of POTICON HARD PPS achieve the high-positioning accuracy and durability required for laser engraving fixtures.

Even complex topology-optimized shapes that are difficult to model with injection molding can be output with strength and precision.

POTICON FLEX PA12 creates impact-resistant drone frames. The thin frame structure, which is difficult to shape and has many openings, is made with a high degree of accuracy.

The G-ZERO L1's large molding area allows for the molding of a variety of parts, including mechanisms and exteriors, at once. The reduced setup time significantly shortens the actual lead time.

Vacuum mold prototypes utilizing the heat resistance and strength of POTICON HARD PPS. The G-ZERO L1 has a large molding range, making it possible to reproduce even tall shapes.
